MCCM Architects, in association with Clark Condon Associates, provided programming and architectural services for this multipurpose pavilion in Rob Fleming Park. Rob Fleming Park is a 100 acre park in the new Village of Creekside Park in the The Woodlands, Texas. Completed in 2007, the multipurpose pavilion anchors the East end of Rob Fleming Park. The West end is anchored by a major aquatics center currently under construction. In addition to the 2,400 square foot multi-purpose area, the pavilion also includes restrooms, concession and storage facilities and a large fireplace flanked by tile wildlife murals reminiscent of the wildlife drawings of Rob Fleming for whom the park is named. The design, including the stone, wood shake, heavy timber and slate roof construction materials capture the Craftsman architectural character required by The Woodlands for all of the structures in the Village of Creekside Park.
